Rochelle Remus, DO
Pediatrician
Dr. Rochelle Remus is a board-certified pediatrician with over 10 years of experience caring for children and families. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Northern Iowa and completed her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Remus went on to complete her pediatric residency at Saint Louis University/Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center.
She enjoys all aspects of general pediatrics and has a special interest in cranial osteopathic medicine, particularly for infants with plagiocephaly. Beyond patient care, Dr. Remus is passionate about optimizing electronic health records to improve clinical workflows.
Dr. Remus is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Osteopathy, American Osteopathic Association, and the Osteopathic Cranial Academy.
Her favorite part of medicine is building lasting relationships with families and watching her patients grow from infancy through childhood. When asked what advice she wishes every patient would follow, she says: “Drink more water—it can make a big difference for common issues like headaches and stomachaches.”
Outside of work, Dr. Remus loves spending time with her three children, playing games, biking, and running. She has completed multiple marathons, numerous half marathons—including 16 in less than a year—a triathlon, and even RAGBRAI, riding across Iowa in a week.
